5Great pearlescent look!
By Daves
Elmers painters are great in general. Good control, nice flow and nice basic colors. The pearlescent markers have a great pearlescent sheen and nice pastel colors. I used them on some Easter eggs and they looked great. I want to do a pair of tennis shoes with them. I think they will rock on black shoes...or any dark background.

3A bit disappointed
By Cheri
I bought these pens to personalize a few ceramic and glass children's items. I was not thrilled with the results. The paint is very runny, and to get a good, opaque coat on glass items, you need to go over your design twice -- which doesn't work well at all.

They do work well on fabric and porous surfaces. I wouldn't recommend them for glass. Colors are nice, though the pearlescent white looks like plain white to me.

I have purchased permanent paint markers at an art supply store in the past, and they worked much better than these. If only I could remember the brand!

5Exactly what I needed
By Heather
These work perfectly for the art I do on wood. All has a pearly sheen toit when dried. I'm satisfied.
